The Blot Ur Loki Clan is one of the oldest packs of werewolves known in (fanon) history, and they are all mine. Okay, so Laurell owns the concept of the way packs work in her universe, but these wolves, their personalities and their way of life, is all original. I'll update this post as I have new things to reveal to you about them.
For starters, here's a list of some important pack members and their relationships to each other. In the Iceland pack, there are no competitions for position. They have lived in a secluded community for so long, that these functions are handed down and kept in the family. Hirik and his family in particular are central to the story, and representatives of the Iceland pack as a whole.
Hinrik was Ulfric when Anita arrived in Iceland. He is an enormous man, almost seven feet tall and very broad as well, with a deep rumbling voice. He has a mass of wiry, curly blond hair, worn in a ponytail, and a long thick beard. Despite his size, he's a very good natured and easy-going man. He's not a natural leader, and was happy to hand over control of the pack to Anita, despite it being his birthright to be Ulfric. He is the oldest of Beata's three sons. Hinrik was Ulfric, but he's also a fisherman.
Beata is Anita's head house-keeper and cook, but also a good friend and 'mother figure' to all. She is short and portly, with long silver hair that she keeps in a tight bun. She used to be Lupa of the pack when Hinrik's father Einar was Ulfric. She is still a prominent figure and leader in the community. She's a natural care-taker and a very strong woman, diving right in when there's work to do.
Fridrik is Beata's second son. He's not as large as Hinrik, but still sturdily built, and ginger-haired. He works as a metal-smith in the village and is the craftsman who made the walking stick that Anita presented as a gift to Asher in Part I. He's married, unlike his two brothers, and has a son, named Einar, after his father. He is still the Frekki of the pack, by birthright.
Sindri is the youngest of Beata's sons. He's the main repair man and games keeper of Anita's estate. He bares a strong likeness to his oldest brother, Hinrik, though shorter and slimmer. He's an insatiable flirt and the brains behind most of the pranks that he and Fridrik are famous for.
Jenna is Beata's youngest and only daughter. She has fine straight wheat-blond hair and hazel eyes. She's very lovely, and very bright. She was the first in her family to attend university, which she does in England. She took an instant liking to Jason, which turned into more and resulted in the young wolf being humiliated by her older brothers, Fridrik and Sindri.
Einar is a young boy of eleven, and works as a stable hand and errand runner on the estate. He's named after his grandfather, who was Ulfric before Hinrik. He was born a wolf, but will not turn until he reaches puberty. The Icelandic pack has special methods of preventing the change, even on the full moon, which allows the females to carry to term.
